Veracity’s CEO visits Europe for cyber events

Veracity Trust Network’s CEO is heading to Europe for two cyber related events later this month. 
 
Nigel Bridges will be representing VTN at the CEE Cyber Security Forum being held at The British Embassy in Vienna on November 21 and 22nd, hosted by the Department for Business and Trade and the British Ambassador in Vienna. 
 
Nigel will then travel to Helsinki to visit Slush 23 on November 30th and December 1st as part of the Plexal Cyber Runway Scale programme funded by DSIT.

Veracity CTO joins UK Trade Delegation to Singapore’s GovWare

Veracity Trust Network’s CTO Stewart Boutcher has been in Singapore and Malaysia as part of a UK Trade Delegation attending GovWare.

GovWare, the Asian region’s premier cybersecurity information and connectivity platform, offers multi-channel touchpoints to drive community intel sharing, training and strategic collaborations and takes place alongside Singapore International Cyber Week.

The inaugural Climb23 event held at Leeds was an excellent venue for attendees to find out why cybersecurity matters (a lot) to investors.

Cyber attacks on the rise

The rise in cyber attacks could make them uninsurable according to the head of one of Europe’s biggest insurance companies Zurich.

Mario Greco, CEO at the Swiss-based company, told the Financial Times that cyber attacks, rather than natural disasters, would become uninsurable if the disruption from hacks continues to rise.
